I have been racing R/C vehicles since 1986,and in that time I have raced just about every kind of vehicle possible from micro’s all the way up to 1/5 scale. In all the time that I have been racing I have made it to some very large races in multiple states and I have done very well. In 2009 I decided to get into 1/5 scale racing with the HPI 5T at the No Limit R/C World Finals, from that point on I was hooked. My next venture into 1/5 scale racing was Hostile Hobbies Bajafest, I finished in the top 5 of the B-main for both truck and buggy.
I’m not the kind of person to add parts to my vehicles just to make them look pretty so I’ve been running my vehicles pretty much stock, but after seeing the Turtle Racing HD Clutch System I wanted to put those in truck and the buggy to make them stronger and allow me to race harder and not worry if the stock parts will hold up. I plan on upgrading to more Turtle Racing products so I can make my vehicles even more bullet proof so I can focus more on racing and not worry so much about parts breaking.
I first became interested in rc car racing while I was working in the shop at my familys business, Oneill Brothers Racing. I have always been somewhat a competitor and what can I say, I like to go fast. My name is Joe Oneill. I am born and raised in Torrance, CA where my family business is from. I grew up dirtbike riding on the weekends and spending time in the desert. When I went to the desert, some of my friends had rc cars and I was instantly hooked. It was like a mini-racecar, but I am the driver. Again, what can I say, I like to go fast.
My brother Sean gave me the opportunity to race large-scale rc cars for our company. I was stoked. The more I race, the more and more competitive I become. I have been all over the United States with our other driver, and my mentor, Rodney Ketcham. We have raced big events in New York, Michigan, and Nevada, just to name a few. I would like to thank the team at Turtle Racing for the great product line that keeps my car running and always supporting me in the races. I would not trade this life for anything.

Father-son team, Hank and Dan Wyatt have been involved in R/C racing for over twenty years. It comes with no surprise that they are now making their mark in the world of 5th scale Baja racing. Having attended many different forms of 1/10th scale off road racing, it was only natural to graduate into the world of 5th scale. Dan and his father have persistently presented themselves and their equipment in the most professional of ways, especially when choosing parts to upgrade and strengthen their race vehicles; there was no superior competition than Turtle Racing.
At the conclusion of the 2009 racing season, Wyatt Racing traveled to New York for the Hostile BajaFest, and to North Carolina for Dennis Anderson’s Baja Challenge. Both events earned 3rd place A-Main finishes for the Turtle/Wyatt Racing 5t. These races put the Turtle HD Clutch System to the test and the products succeeded at every challenge. A prime example was during the North Carolina/Baja Challenge, where the constant rainy weather proved to be a major concern for racing conditions. Even with the constant on/off style of driving, the Turtle clutch and parts performed flawlessly, and the course didn’t get the best of us said Dan Wyatt. The truck was loaded down with an extra 15 pounds of dirt throughout the entire 30 minute main.
Team Wyatt is a firm believer in Turtle Racing Products, and is certain there is no better engineered product on the market. Team Wyatt is confident in knowing their vehicles are equipped with Turtle Racing products and can stand up to any challenge on the track. Wyatt Racing owes their 5th scale racing success to Turtle Racing, and the products they produce for mild to wild racers. Wyatt Racing is looking forward to the 2010 season, and welcomes everyone to stop by their pit to check out the latest hardware from Turtle Racing Products!
